CALL FOR TRANS+ ARTISTS — PAID + EXHIBIT We are making space for artists to heal, create, and be uplifted. Project Transcend NYC, in partnership with The Women’s Community Justice Association, is inviting Transgender, Gender Nonconforming & Non-Binary visual artists to join a 12-week communal workshop to create life-sized self-portraits. Details When: Sundays, 11:30am–2:30pm | Oct 12 – Jan 4 (no session Dec 28) Where: Riverdale Neighborhood House, 5521 Mosholu Ave (Bronx) Pickups available from the #1 train (242 St) & #4 train (Mosholu Ave) Honorarium: $450 upon completion (10/12 sessions) Exhibit: Final works will be showcased in a group exhibition Materials: All provided Who We’re Looking For Visual artists of all disciplines, especially: Painters, illustrators, photographers, textile artists, designers Comic & graphic novel artists Street, graffiti, and mural artists and those ages 60+ especially encouraged to apply!
